Lisa attended the University of Hartford. In addition to her role at the clinic, she is also the founder of the Helping Hands Private Day School. She is certified in Therapeutic Listening, Quick Shifts, Autism, Handwriting Without Tears, Reflex Integration, Nutrition - ADHD/Autism, Floor Time Model, Brain Gym, Brain Connections, Crisis Prevention Intervention, Zones of Regulation, Alert Program, Social Thinking, Trauma Informed Care and she has attended the M.O.R.E. Conference.

Megan Wasson COTA

Operations Manager

Megan is a multi talented leader that supports her staff in pursuing more information with a strong growth mindset. She loves leading the team in undersanding how learning happens everywhere and how regulating a child in their academic worldenables them to access theis academics more independently. Megan earned her Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy at St. Catherine's University. Her certifications and/or training and experience with include: QuickShifts, Autism, Handwriting Without Tears, Yoga as a Modality, Reflex Integration, Astronaut Training, Brain Gym, Brain Connections, Zones of Regulation, Alert Program, Social Thinking, Use of SI as a Tool, and Twice Exceptional; and she has attended the M.O.R.E. conference.

Principal 

Let me introduce myself, I am Lauren Dusek and I will be the new Principal at Helping Hands Day School. I am so excited to start this new journey with an amazing team. I have worn several different hats in the education system. I bring with me a passion for thinking outside of the box and meeting the students where they are emotionally, behaviorally, and academically.  I have experience in extensive professional development, record keeping, creating, and maintaining student schedules along with data collection and administration and implementation of many different plans and programs.
